Draft, not yet in force. Crescendo is pre-launch and is not accepting live payments. This document is published so it can be reviewed and completed with qualified advice before any money is taken. It does not yet form a binding agreement.
Every request is reviewed by a person
During the beta, no request becomes public until a Crescendo reviewer has read it, and no video is paid for until a reviewer has watched it against the frozen requirements.
Requests we reject
A request is rejected if it involves any of the following:
- illegal activity, trespassing, or anything requiring a person to break the law;
- dangerous stunts, weapons, or eating harmful substances;
- self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating;
- sexual content or sexual services;
- minors in unsafe, sexualised or exploitative contexts;
- harassment, humiliation, or targeting a named individual;
- hateful conduct towards people or groups;
- medical treatment claims, controlled substances, or gambling;
- deceptive sponsorship, or hiding that a request is paid for by a brand;
- copyright infringement, or anything that breaks the rules of the platform the video will be posted on;
- anything that pressures a creator into conduct they have not agreed to.
Creator responsibility
Creators choose which requests exist and which to accept, and are responsible for complying with the rules of the platform they publish on, including its paid-content and disclosure requirements.
Reporting and enforcement
Report anything that concerns you to report@backcrescendo.com. We can reject or suspend a request, freeze an account, halt a payout, open a review, and start refunds. We keep an audit record of every enforcement decision.
